Graduate of Rafael Landivar University School of Law, Attorney at Law and Notary Public, Guatemala; University of Miami School of Law (M.C.L, 1981), USA; Academy of the International Court of Justice, The Hague, (UN Fellow in International Law, 1982), The Netherlands.  Former Member, Conboy, Hewit, O'Brien & Boardman (now Hunton & Williams) New York City, USA, 1982. Former member Board of Directors of the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala. Former Member, Central American Parliament, 1990-1995. Former Director (Guatemala) of the Central American Bank of Economic Integration -CABEI-.  MEMBER: Guatemala Bar Association.
